room...

I think I must be one of the worst bloggers around. I didn't take a before picture. Gah. ANYWAY, today, taking full advantage of the presence of a usable car (and Dad's wallet), I completed a bit of desk remodelling. Just take my word for it, it was a junk heap with stuff all over it. Now:

Initially I only had one of those box-drawers you see as the bottom props. Added another one, and a pair of those other box-drawers on the second tier, four planks and some rope, and voila! Also, I took a small wooden dowel, trussed it up like some roast pig, and used it as an accessory rack. I stuck some random doodles I made around, since I can't afford proper art. It's so perfect, it's gay. Ahahahahaha!

Tomorrow, it's going to see the apartment in Dandenong.

no offense, but...

I can't bloody stand it when people say that.

"No offense, but although I hate gay people, I fully support both of you!"

What the hell is that supposed to mean? If you're afraid of offending people, then don't fucking SAY anything! Or if you HAVE to get your point across, and you KNOW that you'll offend them, take the fucking risk! Otherwise, why fucking bother!? If you have no guts to say something because you're afraid people are going to be sensitive about it, then too bad. Shut the hell up and crawl under a rock.

If you ask me, it's even more offensive to say "no offense" when you're making a statement. You already KNOW you're going to offend me with your offensive statement, and then you go ahead and say it. What does it say about your consideration, huh? Just because you mouth some meaningless words means it will take the edge of the vitriol? I think fucking NOT!

At least, don't say that "no offense" thing if you DO know you're gonna be offensive. Then at least you can plead ignorance and apologize AFTER. It's a whole lot more genuine that way, and at least if you're faking apologetic-ness, it will be a real fake, got it?

Gah, I know people going around saying, "no offense, but your skin is like crap," "no offense, but I think you're going to hell because my fucking religion says so," "no offense, but I fucked your girlfriend last night," "no offense, but your momma's so fat, when she jumped, she got stuck."

If you're planning on being offensive, just fucking get fucked about it and die! Stupid pansies going around pleading leniency are better off writing arias about how anal retentive everyone else is than making a case. If you're not gonna make your point straight, stop wasting my air and get the hell out of here. Die, politically correct people, die!

To all the people who may have been offended by this post, no offense, hey?

suan is old...

Because of our random bohliuness, and the fact that she has many friends she likes to share things with, we gave Suan a random randomness yesterday. This face says it all:

It was a frickin huge group of 17 people. Just putting it simply, it was a slight logistical complication. Kyle and Kian did a quite interesting job of the searching and detaining of Suan's numerous friends. I went along for the ride. Whee.

As is a given when the old Seafield gang is together, we are full of random lack of fillings. Spoons!

This face was too funny not to post. Wahahahaha!

Sometimes, it's not the best thing to be the big guy around. It almost looks like it's MY birthday.

Dessert was pretty interesting, too.

But this was only a precursor. She's getting old tomorrow. Hahahahahaha.

Happy 19th, Suan.

P.S.: Reminder to self. Get that Redken shampoo thing Kian is using.

Aiya, okay la. Since you asked. Haiseh.

Four movies I can watch over and over and over:
-The Sound of Music (like, who HASN'T watched it a bajillion times already?)
-My Fair Lady (because of that chocolate song)
-Any of the Lord of the Rings bits
-Hmm, not really sure after this point. I'm really not that intererested in movies.

Four places I’ve lived:
-Someplace in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. You tend to not have time remembering things when you're learning to walk.
-Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
-Subang Jaya, Selangor Malaysia.
-Clayton, Victoria, Australia. Waddya know, sandwich fillings!

Four books i recommend to everyone:

-Book of Chinese recipes.
-Book of roasting methods.
-Buku roti. Hahahahahaha!

Four of my favourite dishes:
-Pepper soup!
-Black pepper anything.
-Roast chicken, drowned in peri peri. Wahah, droolsome.
-Spaghetti bolognaise, especially when me or mom does the sauce. Wahooh.

Four sites I visit daily:
-quicksilverlining. All my links are here what!
-thestar.com.my. Only to see if I'm another 50 pop richer. And to laugh at ridiculous polictics.
-Google.com. That's my homepage.
-VelvetUnderworld. Because there always seems to be something going on there, though with lessening frequency. What's up, Lou?

Four places I’d rather be right now:
-In a mamak.
-In the shower.
-In a cinema watching some random show.
-Back at home, where there always seems to be something edible lying around.

Four bloggers I am tagging:
-Kimmeth.
-Liz.

today...

...I looked at this bright sharp paper blade and wondered how convenient it would be to just run it across my wrists. Then I recall that I read somewhere that you can't kill yourself that way and all it does it just sever your tendons and leave you quite digitally deficient and dripping sticky blood. Also, I'm scared of pointy things.

...I recalled that I had a full bottle of paracetamol and thought how easy it was to just swallow it all. Then I decided I didn't want to die bloated up with all that water. And I noticed that I needed to go to the toilet.

...that I could make suicide look like an accident by running in front of a bus here. Then I noticed that while buses here do tend to go quite fast, they're also remarkably good at stopping quickly, and all I'd achieve was scaring some old lady on the bus half to death and pissing off the driver sufficiently. Not to mention, I might add another tear to my already torn jeans.

...I noticed that starving to death is a totally viable option. Except that I'm still quite fat laden and that it would take awhile. Not to mention, I just cooked up a whole bunch of bacon and chips.

...I thought that I'd jump off the top floor of the Menzies building. Then I realized that the building is so defective that the windows probably wouldn't open, like today in the stats tute. Also, all that padding they put at the bottom from the random explosive works they're doing might sorta spoil the fall.

...I considered bludgeoning myself to death. Of course, there's the fact that my aim at anything is atrocious at best, and that attempting that would probably just result in smashing open a few holes in the wall behind me. So I quickly gave up that idea.

...I tried strangling myself. But the funny thing is that as soon as you start to black out, you release your grip and start breathing again. It's kind of like trying to rape yourself, except exponentially less fun. And a lot more frustrating.

...I burnt the tips of my fingers while frying chips. So it occured to me that boiling oil might do the trick. Of course, I didn't want to end up ugly-er, especially when I haven't made it already clear that I want to be cremated. Imagine how random a casket service would be. "Hey, is this the roast pig ar?" "Hoi! That's the casket la!"

...I wondered if I should kill myself with some STD. Then I recalled that not even a crack whore infested with crabs would sleep with me for a grand a minute. So that wasn't even a viable plan. And HIV infected syringes won't work because I AM SCARED OF POINTY THINGS.

...I got an assignment done, finished the yogurt, polished off half the bacon, ignored some housemates, broke the habit of using internet contractions, oogled a bit, and put away clean underwear.

Not an entirely unproductive day.

de-termination...

If termination is the ending of something, is determination the start?

Anyway, I think either I've become more socially inept than I already am, or that everyone's out to get me. Personally, it doesn't make much of a difference, since I view about 90% of things with some phobic detachment. Like your retina in old age. Or me and sex.

One way to put the current situation is that of mild euphoria coupled with an overwhelming sense of dread. Not that either will last long. As you may have noticed, I have an absolutely notorious short term... err, I forgot.

Things in the house has been civil at best. I never knew losing a 'friend' could produce such interesting social dynamics. As far as I can recall, friends I do lose are usually the result lack of contact. In this interesting twist, I don't even recall what the issue was, but apparently it was some sort or argument or some other. Not that I noticed one. At any rate, the only thing I was gaining from that acquaintance was mild amusements and possible stomach ulcers. I've lost in total around a bar of chocolate, a few candy bars, my patience, and possibly some laundry hanging time. Why must it always be hypocrytical Christians that do this? And I wish I was talking about myself. Heh.

Assignment season is coming to a close. Meaning the harvest is close. I've yet to finish 2 assignments due this week, not that it's my fault really. How are you supposed to do assignments that don't make sense anyway? Then again, nothing from ENG1060 makes any sense. And every damn thing is referred to Chapra this and Chapra that. That guy must be some computing god the way they're going about it.

I think people are avoiding me. I get funny stares from counter staff and random people. Maybe I should just walk around with a glare, because smiling sure doesn't help. Or maybe it's because I have a I'm-gonna-rape-you smile. At this point, I'm in no mood to smile.

Okay, I officially have gone back to emo Jin. I hate emo Jin. I wish he would just spontaneously combust and die.

version two...

Talk about total restructuring. This one works about 5 times as good as the previous one, and is a lot more aesthetically inclined than the previous blocks. It's a whole lot lighter, but admittedly less solid. The binding ropes also act as a sort of suspension. Now, to write that fucken report.

Sunday, May 14, 2006

almost there...

Quite satisfied with today's progress. Although it WOULD have been better if Bunnings did stock everything like they claimed, which they don't since they didn't have ball bearings, the contraption works. Somewhat. It still can't build up speed because there is a tremendous amount of friction on the axles which is basically fucking up the whole thing.

Now, the question is how to make the other group members who did NOTHING practical at all add some value to this. There's the report, but I can do that myself if I have to. Then, there's the materials which cost about 50 bucks which I can make them pay for. Or there's sexual favours, but they're really not all that nice looking so I'll skip that. Hmm.

Friday, May 12, 2006

fuckalicious...

...is exactly what my day hasn't been. Besides being able to finally start on that stupid mousetrap car thing and having spaghetti for tea, my day has gone wrong. Not horribly wrong, but not right enough that it could be called nice.

It is henceforth confirmed that my team mates are incompetent. All they had to do was to get the parts for the car and I'd make it. All they managed to bring was a pack of 100 party balloons. Whee. Too bad I'm not a party person.

It's a good thing there's a Bunning's near Lou's. If not, I'd bloody give them hell come Tuesday. I'm going to do the entire fucking project myself since I can guarantee that they'll ALSO fuck up the report. I'm wondering if I should just make them lose this 10% that they were so ready to lose. I mean, from what Mr Berreen said, we get extra if the other team mates don't want to participate. Sounds great by me.

Also, today I got back that math paper. Suffice to say, I've never been so screwed over a math paper. Ever. That is all.

Thursday, May 11, 2006

meem, bwaha...

I AM: something I wasn't, something I will no longer be, and someONE that has come far enough to know that I'm quite sick of walking.

I WANT: to stop wanting. But that's just plain silly.

I WISH: that I'd have VISIBLE six pacs.

I HATE: idiots who would skip a 10% project for no obvious reason. Especially when I happen to be in their group.

I MISS: my lectures often enough.

I HEAR: lots of background noise.

I WONDER: if SOME people are telling the truth about how big they are.

I REGRET: that I have yet to make an edible steak.

I AM NOT: hungry right now.

I DANCE: random things that don't make sense. Wish I could do the Hungarian Dance though.

I SING: in a voice that only the clinically deaf could appreciate.

I CRY: out to the winds that won't stop blowing my laundry off the line.

I AM NOT ALWAYS: fat. Sometimes, I'm depreciably skinny too.

I MAKE WITH MY HANDS: a pleasure well worth the time and mess. Mmm, chocolate cake.

I WRITE: many things, which, surprisingly, people understand.

I CONFUSE: everyone.

I NEED: more some sex.

I SHOULD: start working on that hot bod if I want to reach my goal.

I START: things only to forget what it is that I was doing 5 minutes later.

I FINISH: all the snacks I buy. Mmm, lamingtons.

I TAG: all the anonymous people who read this, who must then leave a marker that they have done it.

other people...

Nothing much to write about. Besides some random incident on Saturday which slightly infuriated me (I had no idea that I was THAT inept), life's the usual spatial vacuum it is. It sucks badly enough that I'm getting rosy cheeked.

I have about 3 assignments I have yet to start and all are due next week. A good thing is that they're about the last assignments I'll have to do, and God knows I never do homework. Usually, paying attention in class is enough for me to ace a course, but it's quite difficult when the futility of learning such material is quite apparent. Like, who then hell wants to know what a hyperbolic differential is for?

I have to build a mousetrap car by Monday. It would be pretty easy, if I had a car that I could use. And hardware stores in more places. People aren't very useful when you do need their help, it seems. Like, take for instance, they'll usually leave you pretty much ignored, unless you feature highly on their need list. I don't think I do that (don't bother correcting me if I'm wrong, because chances are I'll ignore you), so it's quite bewildering. Then again, it's hard being the superior specimen all the time.

Again, my team mates aren't very helpful. It's quite frustrating when you're the only male in a group of females. Especially in engineering. And incapable of doing anything useful with their hands. And infuriatingly pissing when they show every semblance of being a helpful team mate without actually being any help at all. They're offering plenty of useless help, which I think I would have done better without. And it's not like they're hot, at that.

I'm hoping the remaining 6 months or so here will not disillusion me so much that I start stuffing bananas into the exhaust pipes of every other stationary vehicle. Although, that would be amusing, to a note.

I need chocolate.

hooh...

This is happening so often, it isn't even funny anymore.

Why do I celebrate the mediocre? Hooh.

Friday, May 05, 2006

uhoh...

I can see why Suan and the others are worrying. I think I AM crumbling.

I locked myself out of the house again today. Help.

On another note, Asians abroad (not a broad, abroad) and those not so abroad (for the LAST TIME, it's abroad, as in, not home, overseas, not a broad), come join the random forum of randomness here. Bwaha.

head expansion...

Wahah. And who thought that a random minute of boredom could produce such?

Edit: Hmm, I do realise that the Star doesn't keep their archives for very long, and I want to keep this as a record, and for the convenience of the lazy people out there, I have reproduced the link below. At least, the part that matters. Bwahahaha.
