back at the beginning...

Sitting here in the Taylor's library. Back at the spot where this blog was started. Well, actually, not the same computer. That one is sitting three spaces on my left. Still, the room is the same huge one, the air seems the same temperature, and the silence is not as defeaning as before. Right now, I have sold about all my textbooks, and bought all of the required materials. At least, for now. At the moment, I'm feeling a bit lost. Like I don't know what to do. The blatantly melancholic feeling that was hanging over me yesterday, and the day before, and the day before that has gone, or at least has been masked extremely well. I can't tell. Inside, there is a void, covered by the fullness of an overstuffed belly. This post is beginning to seem much like the fashion of my earlier posts. Wonderful. This is a brilliant sign. Extremely beautiful, going back to the beginning. Can't help but notice this paragraph is fucking long. Because it is. At any rate, it's nice to note that I've sold a few pictures already. I'm not sure who the person is, but I do know that the money can be used. That is fine. Whichever. I so need to recover my finances. I'm not rich, although sometimes it might be hard to tell from the way I spend. Maybe that's why I'm not rich. Oh well. Everything's there for a reason. Unlike this post. There doesn't seem to be much of a reason for posting this, besides the fact that I'm bored. And this paragraph must end now.

A new one starts where the last one ended. But now I've nothing left to say. And I still wonder if people like more words, or if they like more pictures. Whichever it is, I'll say that it don't really matter. It's my place, after all, and what I do is of no fucking concern to most of you, unless, of course, it is. In which case, that previous statement does not apply to you. But if it did, it would. Ah, I'm boring myself. Okay, a picture, a picture. I'll give you my handcrafted desktop. Yeah, it's the same bunny in the picture, if you can see it.

can you spell C.H.E.E.R.?

Cheer 2005. Wasn't as spectacular as last year. But nonetheless, it was interesting. I'll just cover the even and leave the rest to your imagination, okay?

First, we meet our emcees:
A very nice gay couple if you ask me.
Jien of Disney Buzz fame, and Joey G of Channel V.

Then the guest judge, Malaysian model Amber Chia:

She was kind enough to commit to signing autographs:
Wonder what the guy standing behind her was thinking...
Team Vulcanz All-Girls from SMK Seafield was first to perform:
They were so fast the shot was blurred, wow.
Vulcanz All-Guys were next. No, they are not gay. At least, not all of them.

Since there are a few CHS-ers who read this blog, I suppose it would be nice to show you how your hometeam did:
Wah, looks kind of painful leh...
On the second day, repeat performance, somehow the guys didn't do as well.
Malaysian Idol Jaclyn Victor graced us with her presence. No Gemilang here, dudes.

Guys managed to score third spot this year, not too bad at all. So far the record of winning stuff at this event has been a three for three. Two best newcomer titles and one third place. Getting better, I'd say.

Then the customary group pic:
Got all the angmoh judges in the pic too!

Somehow, this post sucks. Meh.

overwhelming sense of loss...

Ever had one of those? I suppose I have. Can't remember what though. You might say I lead a sheltered life. I'd say it myself. It's pretty closed to the world, which is sad, given that I see so much of it. It's one thing to see, one thing to hear, and one thing to understand. What difference does it make to anyone if it doesn't make sense?

If you've noticed, which I haven't till recently, my posting style has been very different from the day this whole blog started. Very sad. Or good. I'd say that my posts then were a whole lot darker and cruder than even Darien's, which is in itself saying a lot. But then, his are dark with a very vengeful tinge. Mine are dark as in they are bleak. Maybe that way, he is incorruptible, while mine is subject to current emotions. Ah. Reading old posts makes me long for those days of absolute solitude and loneliness. But that would be selfish. Ah, commitments are a double edged sword. They give as much as they take. They remove all sense of loneliness, but also they cause the reason you stay around disappear.

Hopefully, I will find my old spark back. Although most say it's better that I've brightened up, I will be the first to admit the quality of my works has declined a bit. They say the value of your produce is inversely proportional to your happiness, at least where art is concerned, and writing is an art in itself. Are people measured by how happy they have lived, or how much they have left behind? A bit of both? Perhaps. In that case, I've either had an excellent life so far, or I've nothing to talk about. Meh.

Bored? Then go over and read kennysia.com. He's back apparently. He made a pretty name for himself ever since that April Fool's day post. Not too bad, lolz. If only I could be self deprecating in a funny manner, lolz. Oh well. Long live the red boxers!

aiseh...

Today, I did the househusband. Did lunch, did the laundry, did dinner. Then, went out to fetch my sister from some 'tuition', whatever that means. Really, the male version of the power soccer mom, lolz. And hell, I'm an 18 year old guy sitting boredly in the house during the last week of a one month holiday. Oh well, something's better than nothing.

This leads to the question. Why am I writing seeing as how nothing happened? Good question. I wish I could answer. That would mean I'd need to do something. Crap. I shot myself in the head, lolz. Added two more holes. Entry wound and exit wound. Meh. Okay, wait here while I get the camera cable.

Ok, ok. Here's dinner. What I did. I'd send the pics of each preperation step, except I'm lazy, and also that I only thought of taking pictures after I put in the stuff in the pot.
The covered pot.
Inside the pot. Wow. Huge piece of garlic.
Finished product, ready to serve.

Hehe. Nice, eh? The only thing is the washing up. That's troublesome. Now, if you will pardon me, I'll be going to enjoy the chicken of my labour, lolz. Pepper soup. Wonderful.

she's back!!!

Oh, yes, oh yes! She's back. Her sleek beautiful body close to my fingers. Ooh, caressing those gentle curves. She glows softly back at me. Such sensous, such delightful sounds she speaks. Total bliss. Ahh. Absolutely. How I miss her. Such absolute joy at seeing her again. Pretty little baby back to me. Never again will I let her leave my side. Such a mistake. Oh. Incredible feeling. Can't put her down. Yes yes yes! She's back, my baby's back!

Isn't she beautiful?
Yeah! She's back! Perfect match with her partner!

P.A.W.S.ing in my tracks...

Today was kinda interesting. Downright memorable it was. Extremely. Went to PAWS animal shelter. You know, that old place off the road from Subang Airport? Yeah. Me and PokX. Actually, it is grammatically incorrect, should be PokX and I. Whatever. Now college holiday, must executing my England.

PokX and pup.
Anyways, we reached that place at 10-ish. Not sure. Got straight to the cat pens.
Want some pussy?
All that talk about cats being clean animals only applies to their bodies. Their living area leaves much to be desired. At any rate, we were given disposable gloves. The one on my right hand gave way almost immediately (note to self: never use condoms made by local companies.) Sprayed out the place, PokX looked like he was about to puke any moment. Still, he kept his composure. Yeah, I suppose it smelt bad, no idea, cuz my nose was not very receptive. Cleaned that place out.
You want more pussy?
Hung around for awhile, took some celebrity shots with the locals, went for lunch. Yeah. Back to Subang mainside, got fuel, got lunch at McD drive thru, but didn't drive thru. Sat down for lunch. Had lunch. Went back.

Regular Bonnie and Clyde, these two...
Puppies are cuddly, puppies are cute, they're never nasty or mean. Yeah. After lunch, cleaned out the puppy pens. Those things are just adorable.
Aww...
It just breaks my granite heart to see them stuck here. Most likely, they'll lose their tiny little testicles before reaching maturity.
This guy was all alone, and scared. What the fuck are you savages doing throwing away puppies!?!
Ouch. I can just imagine that. Sigh. Anyways, cleaned out the little cages, played a bit with them. Very little. Those things may be small, but they're very spirited.
See how happy they are?
It's a crying shame that no one comes to visit them. People, if you're ever thinking of getting a dog, spare a thought for these little ones.

Water's really important to dogs. If you don't give them enough, they'll die. Much like anything else. But even moreso for dogs, cuz they can't sweat. One thing I kept doing was refilling their little earthenware water dishes. Strange how the kennel boys there didn't refill them. Not too perceptive.
College boys, lolz.
The older pups were in a larger holding pen. Kinda like the human equilavent of highschool. Except everyone is naked, much like that legendary go-to-school naked dream.
Nudist colony!
Coolness. The older dogs were kept outdoors. Those really honest-to-God resembled large prison yards. It's very humbling to know that they can be so happy to see people. The same people that put them in there. Ergh.

Skittish little felow a lot more honest than most people I know...
I like animals a lot more than I like people. Animals don't talk back, they always listen. They never backstab because they do not have opposable thumbs, and cannot hold knives. They are friendly, although sometimes very savage, but only to do what is necessary for them to survive, no more.
Animals don't backstab you, cuz they're usually not very tall.
Animals are never greedy, if they appear so it is because they were trained that way. Why do we call ourselves the superior species? We so evidently are not, if we are the only species capable of activities that we ourselves loathe. Silliness. That's why I didn't go to the children's homes or old folk's places. Not that I have anything against them. It's just that I have more love for animals than I do people. Whatever.

After that, got our papers signed, went to Pyramid for bowling. Amazingness. First time I ever broke 89, and it reached over 100. Weird. PokX wasn't having a good day, lolz. Didn't do much after that. Some randomness. Then went home. Sim Ooi Keong came over, played around with the D70. I stole Photoshop CS2 from him. The most fantastically attuned program for photoediting I know. Stole PokX's template, as you can see. Spent a good 3 hours fixing for me. Also, I made the guestbook icon so painfully obvious. Don't bloody hell say you don't know where it is. You do. Now, go sign it.

Utter contentment.

what i do normally...

Hmm. Since I have nothing to really write about, I might as well show you what I do on a daily basis. Yeah. That makes sense. Hmm.

Idiot box indeed.
I suppose you might say I live in front of my computer. Not really, actually. Yeah. Only a good 65% of my waking hours on an average day. The machine is usually the downstairs one, though the upstairs one usually sees a lot of action. No, in case you're wondering, it's not a good thing to have two machines. For one thing, the one upstairs is only good for word processing. Graphically speaking, it's pixelated. Downstairs is the real useful one, but not really powerful. Yeah, it runs a few games, but that's about it. And it's always occupied.

Black Beauty, alright.
This one is interesting. Yeah. Considering how often I used to play it. At one point it was like 4 hours a day on it. That was when my skill was at it's peak. Now, it's kinda like an expensive piece of furniture. Well, not actually. I still play it. Maybe every other day, which is way more than most people I know who CAN play it. I can churn out a few decent tunes, but that's about it. You want to hear good music, go find Jane. She's good. Like really. Who else memorizes Flight of the Bumble Bee? To think about it, must ask her if she has Fantasie Impromptu. Niceness.

Saw this bilboard on the way to DJ the other day. I was thinking, it's kinda ugly for a Nokia. Technologically speaking however, it's way more superior than my pathetic 3100. Aih. Maybe should get a new phone. If it's one thing, I hate inferior technology. I must have new electronics! Speaking of which, I miss my Zen! But it should be back by Saturday, according to the guy at the Ham Sap Lou electronics. No lar, it's actually Hock Seng Leong, but they were asking for it.
I want my Zen back!!!

Aih. Why can't I play like this?
I'm thinking this is a very simplistic but extremely curious game all at once. Think about it. It involves throwing the ball all over the place, and somehow staying in place long enough to get it through a metal hoop. Like, nice. Really thinking of taking this up. Funny thing is everyone around me is dropping it. Perfect. Oh well. It's more like to fulfill boyfriend duties, lolz. Not to mention, improve my throwing aim. Like, excellent for flinging heavy projectiles at annoying people. Meh.
Really small for a basketball...

Now THIS is a camera!
I suppose I should take up photography seriously. Like more seriously than I am now. That way, the price of the D70 would be justified. But the only problem being the time constraints, as well as societal pressures. Like, it's kinda annoying to have people staring at you like sheep. Especially with an expensive camera. Ergh. Professional hazards. I don't get paid enough for this. Still, people pay well for silly little events like graduation pics, even if they're badly taken. Sweet.
Oi, Arunth! Look this way leh...

I suppose it's more amusing doing what I do when I want to do it. If you disagree, well, too bad. It's my life, and the whole purpose of the rest of the world is to amuse me! Mwahahaha. Ergh.
